Obituary for Victoria A. Mills Innocent

Victoria A. Mills Innocent, beautifully blessed and highly favored by God, has transitioned into eternal rest. She was a woman of unwavering faith, always putting God first in every aspect of her life. With a heart full of love, trust, and strength, Victoria lived as a devoted servant of God, embracing His guidance in everything she did. She was a teacher, a nurturer to many, and known for her humor and honesty. Through it all, she remained true to her belief in keeping God first.

Victoria was the loving mother of two children, Rinellio Innocent and Clydesha Williams, and the proud grandmother of two, Ka’Via Williams and Ki’Ron Lewis Jr., who were the light of her life. She loved her family deeply and unconditionally, serving as an aunt to at least four generations. Her love was felt by all who knew her.

She is survived by her cherished brother, Leroy Ervin, and his family, including Dianna Evon, Jordan, Shaquille, and Montego, along with their children. Her beloved sisters, Marsha Gilchrist (and her children Marcia and Maranda Gilchrist and their families) and Sabrina Collins (and her children Boobie and Renae), also mourn her loss.

Victoria leaves behind her nephews Tommie Mills II (wife Chidi Mills and their 8 children), Antonio “HEAD” White, and Lil Kenny Mills. Her cousins Yvonne and Wanda held a special place in her heart.

She was blessed with lifelong friendships, including best friends Barbara Jean and Rhonda, and her god-sisters May and Tameka, who stood by her side throughout her life.

Victoria was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Elma and Arlington Mills, and her brother, Tommy Mills Sr. Her passing is a great loss to all who knew her, but her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Her love, strength, and laughter will be missed, but her spirit remains with us all. May she rest in eternal peace.
